Teen Pregnancy Rate Rises for First Time Since 1991

Teen birth rates rose for the first time since 1991, as reported by the CDC National Center for Health Statistics. The teen birth rate rose 3 percent, with black teens having the highest rate of births. The youngest group of teens (ages 10-14 years old) did not report an increase in births.
