Recycling White Coats?

In the United Kingdom, a move is afoot to ban the use of white coats in hospitals. A letter in this week's issue of the British Medical Journal suggests alternative uses for the white coat, including:
1) using it as a projector screen;
2) donating it to developing countries;
3) turning them into nappies (diapers);
4) giving it to your child for a school play.
