GSK to Report Grants To U.S. Healthcare Organizations

GlaxoSmithKline has announced that it will publicly disclose grants made to U.S. healthcare organizations. The report, which will be issued quarterly, will include the name of the recipient (including hospitals, teaching institutions, managed care organizations, professional associations, patient advocacy groups, and continuing medical education companies), the amount of the grant, and a description of the grant. Consulting agreements with medical providers will not be included in the report. See article in Modern Healthcare.
